Sinners Saints

The simple goal of this band is to bring back what is missing in Rock N' Roll: The balls. In a time when mainstream heavy music is dominated by angst-ridden power chords and melancholic choruses, Sinners Saints prove that good time hard rock did not end with the eighties. Nor does it have to be exclusively "retro." Influenced by Guns N' Roses, Buckcherry, Aerosmith and many others, Sinners Saints fire off enough hooks to keep any listener singing along. But they never forget to keep things raw and downright sleazy. One can smell the broken bottles that allign the rehearsal spaces where anthems like "Whiskey Train" and "Runaround" were conceived. And if there isn't a lighter on hand when "Starting Over" begins, don't worry; Sinners Saints have their own special brand on sale. Music like this was made to be experienced live, and this is one outfit which clearly understands that. Each song is imbued with enough energy and a grand enough atmosphere to make any venue feel like an arena.

Another bluesy rock band from Philadelphia that is less polished than The Dirty Pearls and we like it that way. These guys will screw your girlfriend in the dirty bathroom stall and send her back to you with a dirty mouth and a changed outlook on life. If you like southern blues with loud guitars and a sense of urgency, you need this EP.
