Siôn Russell Jones is a singer/songwriter from Cardiff, Wales. He has a unique and infectious vocal backed up by intricate guitar melodies and cracking choruses.
2011 was an exciting year for Siôn, he released his debut album 'And Suddenly' via Still Small Voice Music and later signed to BDi Music, (publishers of Jake Gosling) sister company to Bucks Music Group. He played many gigs & festivals including The Acoustic Festival of Britain, How The Light Gets In and Greenman Festival, he opened for a sold out Newton Faulkner gig, for comedian Rich Hall, for Charlotte Church and for Mara Carlyle at Crunch Festival. In November, Siôn showcased at Music Week's BREAKOUT gig at Proud, Camden which led to Stonebridge Guitars offering him an endorsement deal.
Tracks from Siôn's debut album 'And Suddenly', have received airplay on regional & national radio stations and his last single 'Indestructible', made 'BBC Radio Wales Single of the Week', and was championed by Craig Charles on BBC Radio 2. Siôn's music has been used regularly on Coronation Street & Eastenders and more recently in a short bike film for WhiteNoSugar Productions.
Siôn is currently writing new material for his next release and he's looking forward to showcasing at SXSW, Texas and Canadian Music Week, Toronto in March 2012.
