On October 12,1985 in Kansas City,Missouri ,Shannon Johnson gave birth to her first son, Lu’Juan D. Johnson. At age 10 Lu’Juan wrote his first rhyme. Back then when he started out,he was known as Juanie Juan,but that moniker did not last long,once he saw a female rapper named Lil Juanie performing at a local talent show. So with Juanie being a bit girly,he changed it to simply Juan. At age 14 joking with a female classmate on his block, he asked her to buy him a bag of hot chips and grape soda.Her reply was “No Sir,Juan!!.” liking the way she said it, Sir Juan was born.

Sir Juan, lived in the inner city for a great deal of his life with his single mother and 4 siblings.At 9 his family moved to 69th off Paseo,where he learned how to become a man,he learned the ways of the streets and how to survive in them. At the age of 13,Sir Juan was considered an at risk teen. With the hope of putting him in a better situation,his mother and grandmother agreed it would be best for him to move in with his grandparents,in the southern part of Kansas City.Sir Juan’s father was never in his life,he did not even know what his father looked like until he was 15 years old and thats only because his great grandmother passed away.

Sir Juan is from South Kansas City’s Ruskin Heights neighborhood or simply known as “The Heights” where he was introduced to the “Folk Life” and many other activities including his love for football,where he lettered 3 years and was a co captain his senior year.Sir is a proud graduate of Ruskin High School 2004,he barely walked the stage,but he felt his mother deserved her first high school diploma,as soon as he received it,he handed it to his motherSir Juan received a partial scholarship to play football at MidAmerica Nazarene University,but it only took one semester for Sir to realize that college was not for him,so he dropped out for after only one semester.

April 16,2007 Sir went in for a work orientation at Ford Motor Company,where he met an aspiring beat maker/producer by the name of Polo Stylez ,the two linked up on a couple of tracks,and like the saying goes “The rest is history.” The duo decided to start a partnership together where Sir Juan would be a songwriter and Polo Stylez would make all the beats and together make club banging hits.Not waiting for labels to pick up their music,the duo decided to go independent and started their own record label,SydeBloKc Entertainment formed in 2009 and the two share responsibilities as the label heads and also the C.E.O.s of five recording artist.

Sir Juan is a solo artist on the verge of stardom,he is already a well known artist in all the local K.C. rap and hip hop circuits.Right now Sir has a single titled “Hey You” which is a massive club banger in Kansas City’s underground and club seen,in fact when he performed the song at the Americas Pub, “which is the most popular and one of the largest hip hop and rap venues in the whole city” When Sir performed the single,security shut the club down,because everyone was feeling the track so much,the club thought that the fans might cause a riot between different clicks in the club,but Sir Juan also has an softer side for the ladies with his tracks like “I’ll Remember” and “Awake or Not”.
