The best kept secret in music

Press

"Decibel Magazine"

For your fucked up tastes, you might just have found the most entertaining album ever. Seriously. - Decibel Magazine

"DRUM! Magazine"

Utterly Unperformable. Bizarre. - DRUM! Magazine

"Kerrang!"

Jokey prog work-outs to entertain and enlighten you through laughter. - Kerrang!

"ScenePointBlank"

If I had to nominate an album for the most bizarre and intriguing release of 2005 thus far, I would have no problem choosing this. If you are looking for something to blow your mind, then by all means go out and purchase it. - ScenePointBlank

"Flipside"

This is likely the product of a bunch of Monty Python fans and Subgeniuii. Indeed, it sounds like many of these are theme songs for TV shows that never existed. I really want to meet the people that put this together, but not let them know where I live, you know? - Flipside

"Focus Magazine"

While a lot has been mentioned about the infamous in-humor and clever dick ditties that fill up his albums (with a sharp sarcasm that dwarfs They Might Be Giants), it's the complexity and creativity of his instrumental work that remains pants-dropping amazing. - Focus Magazine

"INK19"

Sir Millard Mulch takes computer music sequencing to extremes, creating music so dense and hyperkinetic that not even Nintendo would want to touch it. - INK19

Discography

His Triple-Disc Concept Album, "How To Sell The Whole F#@!ing Universe To Everybody, Once And For All!" was released on Trey Spruance's Mimicry Records in July 2005. Prepare for and expect a whopping four-hour long concept album that includes guest appearances from Virgil Donati (Planet X, Steve Vai Band), Nick D'Virgilio (Tears For Fears, Mike Keneally Band), Nils Frykdahl (Sleepytime Gorilla Museum), Mark Critchley (Itch), Dave Meros (Spock's Beard), Paul Mazurkiewicz (Cannibal Corpse), Morgan Agren (Frank Zappa, Dweezil Zappa), and Larry Boothroyd (Victims Family). An accompanying book (over 200 pages long and filled with illustrations) is available separately for purchase.

Bio

On his records, Sir Millard Mulch constructs an imaginary rock orchestra of super-hero virtuoso musicians integrating the greatest strengths of human creativity and computerized perfection. On many compositions he shamelessly employs midi sequencing and digital editing to create arrangements that would otherwise be impossible to perform -- not to hide mistakes like other producers do, but to express his ideas clearly and with no limitations.

Although this enigmatic guitarist / bassist / keyboardist / vocalist / programmer / composer / producer regularly works with a brain-trust of sometimes anonymous, sometimes imaginary co-writers and artists and jumps at the chance to exploit anyone's rare talents -- he often opts to perform and record entire orchestrations by himself. His motto? "No Band, No Band Problems." His principal instrument and the primary tool he employs is Steinberg's Cubase, which he has used exclusively for a decade.
