The best kept secret in music

"Tuesday, December 06, 2005"

These 16 tracks are all gorgeously arranged and mixed. An artist riding the right amount of creative chaos to give all his material an uneasy tension, Erik Norgaard is poised to start making an impression.

"Friday, January 13, 2006"

Norgaard's 16 tracks feature a beautiful blend of voice, guitar and hip hop. Encouraging listeners to turn our awareness within, the work is as musically pleasing as it is inspirational.

Guided by Light, 2005

Feeling a bit camera shy

A seasoned performer, you'd be hard pressed to find a more passionate and dynamic presence, on or off the stage, than sir regaard. His solo debut, "Guided by Light", takes us on one man's journey of awakening from the dark musical and lyrical overtones of songs such as "So Far Away" and "I'm Not Him" to the light of "Glorious" and "Guided by Light". Be prepared to be enraged, enlightened, inspired and, most of all, thoroughly entertained.

Erik Norgaard a.k.a. sir regaard has been playing and writing music for most of his life. A seasoned guitarist, he has earned a Diploma of Music with a major in performance. His daily practice of insight meditation has enabled him to overcome a lifetime of addiction and excess.

"Guided by Light" was produced over a three year period by Sean Eyre with Erik Norgaard in The Zone, Vancouver, BC. Norgaard shares writing credit on five of the album’s sixteen songs with Sean Eyre and Stephen Laird.
