SISEMORE is : Paul Sisemore, singer and guitar player, Russell A. Farrow, guitar player, David Wehner bass guitar, and drummer Mark Busto. Paul, formerly with Tampa, Fl. based Sugarspoon (MCA Records), and Russell had known each other for some time, though they had only jammed together at impromptu meetings in clubs and the like, were excited to work together for the first time. Tuesday night jam sessions at Russell's house created the nucleus of the band. After a year long search, David Wehner joined the band on bass guitar. Mark Busto, former MCA recording artist in Sugarspoon along with Sisemore, was a natural fit on drums. "Up", the bands' initial EP offering, was released in 2009 and helped fund the full length release of 2011's "The Disillusionment of Youth and the American Way". The record was was recorded over the summer and fall of 2010 using Tampa's Red Room Recorders Studio's for the drum and bass tracks with guitars and vocals recorded at the band's home base in Clearwater, Fl. via pro tools. Employing Jeff Robinson to mix the record proved vital to helping define the "sound" of the band. " We wanted to move away from the more atmospheric sound Sugarspoon had been known for favouring a more direct, live feel for the new record", Sisemore said. The release in the summer of 2011 has the band poised for a fall College Radio Campaign.
