An expression of front woman̢۪s (Syd) social and romantic life experiences, SISTER SCREAMER, is the definition of the quintessentially Socially awkward, yet still desperate to express the unrequited rage with which, at times, what can only be described as an angelic timbre. The influences of Sister Screamer range from old school punk, 60's doo-wap and 80's electronic music. There's no denying that her array of musical influences show in her work. She'll always keeping you guessing as to what we'll be hearing from her next, the latest evolution follows her throughout her metamorphosis out of her self deprecating cocoon and becoming a monarch in her own right. The songs of Sister Screamer are riddled with cleverly subtle word play that transports you back in time with her as she recalls her state of mind at any given time during her creative process. Be it a happy time, or not... she holds nothing back. The vulnerability that she has the courage to share with her audience often times can pull so tightly at the heart strings that you're left in tears right beside her. You just can't buy that kind of connection. Edgy, yet sexy, bitter but hopeful, each song is unique from one and other. Sister Screamer is poly-genre artist.
