Six Seconds to Run

Gone are the days of music where everything you hear sounds the same, as Six Seconds To Run bring you an experience that will leave you wanting more!

The band originally formed in 2012 under the identity of “The Concept” when singer/songwriter Lee Marks met guitarist Eric Cook for the first time. “I told him that I’d had this piece of music that I’d written and never done anything with, so we met, Lee put lyrics to it and the rest, as they say, is history!” says Eric, “It was as though everything just clicked and we knew we were onto something.”

Since then, the addition of Tom Prater, who has spiced up mix with his powerful bass lines, and phenomenal drummer Robbie Kerr has taken Six Seconds to Run’s sound to a whole different level. With the transformation from acoustic rock to full on rock band they bring new versions of old tracks and new material, the band clearly offer something for everyone.

Six Seconds to Run have a mutual vision: to bring people something different, something they can relate to whilst having fun and getting their music out there for all to hear. “What it really comes down to for us” explains Lee, “is that we love what we’re doing and we’ve brought others music they really enjoy too. So many people have said how much they like what we do and that drives us to deliver more”.
