Sixes started out as a group of good friends that wanted to jam, we all loved alot of the same stuff but we all had our guilty pleasures too. The real unifying factor was a mutual love and respect for Pantera (which continues to have a major influence on the band.) As a matter of fact we revel in playing a Dimebag Darrell tribute concert in Tulsa every year on the date of his death. We put alot of time and effort into preparing for the show, because a whole set of Pantera songs is no easy task.
We Continually break the mold of what people consider a heavy metal band. it may work in our favor it may not, but we make the music we want to make with a sound we want to hear. When Sixes does a gig we do it with everything we got, and we are adding to it all the time.
If you have a love for good music in general , and happen to have a flare for the heavier sort, Sixes is definitely worth and investment of your time.
