Bio

SixFootSavage aptly describes the bold and sassy front-woman of SFS - Jennifer Savage. Along with bandmates, Crane, “Flip” , and Peterson, these four have created SixFootSavage, an electric, passionate rock band that leaves listeners fired up and inspired. SFS is as pure and emotional as it gets. SixFootSavage is a band with their roots in old school rock and their claws in the future. They have crafted a tightly produced, hook-laden rock show appealing to indie, funk, folk, and pop fans alike. SFS combines the soul of Janis Joplin with, “ a voice reminiscent of the powerful, but emotional vocals of Anne Wilson... of the band Heart,” (Ritzy Ryciak, Queen Anne/Magnolia News).

In the spring of 2002 Savage, Williams, and Crane began recording and performing together. They released the album, “This World” and toured the West Coast (four band mates, two dogs, Astrovan and a U-Haul) from Seattle to Austin, TX for a showcase slot at SXSW. The return of the band to Seattle was met with the addition of veteran Seattle drummer, Wes Peterson who added fire to their creative spark. This new lineup immediately started to create new material and the band, SixFootSavage, was born. SFS released their self-titled album SixFootSavage in Nov. 2004. “SixFootSavage has created a polished, well-produced album. Definitely a band worth keeping an eye on.” (John Larson, Tacoma Weekly)

Since the solidification of the SFS lineup, the band has performed throughout the Northwest and Westcoast and New York. They have also appeared at the HardRock Café in Maui, and industry showcases such as SongsAlive, SXSW Invasion of the GoGirls, and The Rockrgrrl Music Conference. SFS has performed at many outdoor festivals such as The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival, The Bite of Seattle, Evergreen College’s Super Saturday, The Vashon Island Strawberry Festival, and The Arlington Garlic Festival.

“SixFootSavage is sultry, full, of emotions, and musically inclined. This is a dynamic blend of musician’s with a great vocalist. I would definitely be wasting my breath telling you how good this band is. Well, what the heck, they KICK ASS!” (MQ Editor, Music Queen Magazine)
