"OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE - JUNE 8, 2007:"

SIX ANNOUNCE THE RELEASE OF
“BETWEEN THE WARNING AND THE WAR”
FEATURING GUEST APPEARANCES BY
MEMBERS OF SUICIDAL TENDENCIES AND STATIC-X

Orange County, CA's SiX have announced the release of their new album
“Between The War and the Warning”. The album, which features guest
appearances by Mike Clark from Suicidal Tendencies and bassist Tony
Campos from Static-X, will be released independently through the group’s
own 1605 Records.

"Tony and Mike were a blessing to this project. After rocking out to
one of our rough demos he got from a mutual friend, Mike wanted to meet
us. That meeting turned into partying in Hermosa Beach over Tecates and
Tequilla. By the end of the night he and his homie destroyed his coffee
table, moshing to 'The Day I Died'. He came into the studio and just
man-handled the guitar. I've never seen a guy rip like that so
effortlessly," says frontman Lauren Boquette. "Tony and I go way back to
my days in Drown. We knew he was a monster on the bass and when it came
time to track bass parts, I sent him 'The Day I Died' and 'Warning'
knowing they would be right up his alley. He came in and within 2 hours
the bass lines were on fire, he killed it."

Formed in 2001, SiX has been punishing the hard rock scene on their own
terms with a fierce independent mindset that allows them to record and
tour on their own terms. Comprised of members of alt-metal act Drown and
former touring members of Cypress Hill and OPM, the group’s previous
release “The Price of Faith” received strong reaction from radio and
prompted Amp Magazine to say SiX “combine the modern day crossover metal
of Machine Head, Metallica, and Fear Factory with classic influences
such as Sabbath, Priest, and Maiden.” Since then the group has done
hundreds of shows, touring the country and sharing stages with Clutch,
GWAR, Slipknot, Disturbed, Shadows Fall, Stone Sour and countless others.

Mike Clark states, “SiX is the only band that I’ve come across that can
pick up where Suicidal left off. This is some hard, real, west coast shit”.

Thanks to main sponsor Jagermiester, committed friends in the
underground, and an unrelenting work ethic, SiX continues to infect the
nation with their brand of aggression. "This is the best album I've
ever made. After living in a van for the past 5 years building SiX, we
put everything we are into this one," says Lauren. "Every drop of blood
and every mile traveled. You want to hear a very hungry band that is out
to destroy the world? Just push play!"

Bio

We all come to a point in our lives where we see the signs, and are given a choice of where we want to go. We can make a choice to make things better or to fuck things up. Thats the moment between the warning and the war. ~ vocalist, Lauren

SiX was formed in 2001, in Orange County, CA. Their first release was an EP called "When The Beauty's Gone" (1605 Records). SiX played all over America and Canada throughout 2001-2004; with the likes of Clutch, Gwar, Dope, Hed Pe, Saliva, Coal Chamber, and countless other local and regional bands.

In 2004, the band returned to their rehearsal/recording studio, "The Asylum", to cook up new music for their full length debut. It became the dark, heavy groove, metal onslaught, titled, "The Price Of Faith", which hit stores in February, 2005 (1605 Records). Once again they toured their asses off all over America, and even dippin' down into Mexico; rockin' with everyone from Dry Kill Logic, Slipknot, Fear Factory, Chimira, Nevermore, Arch Enemy & a ton of other great bands.

They ended almost 2 years of touring and entered the rehearsal studio again, to start writing a new album. 27 songs were written, and many of the new songs were debuted live in front of sold out shows with Clutch, legendary punk gods the Germs, & Disturbed. Yet the album was far from finished.

SiX first began to record the album up in a fancy Hollywood studio, but then eventually scrapped the entire project to start completely over in a buddys small dungeon like studio. They worked sometimes up to 15 hours a day, sleeping in the studio to get it done. The vibe was perfect. Although there were many struggles from the beginning, their drive was relentless.

Finally, with the additions of Mike Clark (Suicidal Tendencies) on Forgiveness, and Tony Campos (Static X) on Warning & The Day I Died all of their inspiration and determination resulted in "Between The Warning and The War" (1605 Records), released on April 20, 2007. The same day of the release, SiX rocked another sold out Jager show with Stone Sour, Shadows Fall, & Lacuna Coil. It was an amazing way to celebrate the release!

The new album is a blistering attack on mainstream music. It's somewhere between old school power, and the future of aggression. "We decided to really let our roots show on this one. We all grew up on metal, punk, and classic rock. So this time around, we're letting it all come out", vocalist Lauren says proudly. "We don't care about trends like most bands seem to these days. We just do what we do, and this one really captures the energy and intensity we've built as a touring band. It destroys!"

SiX is preparing for their next tour, in support of Between The Warning And The War, and recently added a second guitar player, which has intensified their live sound. Also, in April they shot their first video for their new single Warning. So look for that, as well as more awesome SiX news as it unfolds. They plan to hit the road very soon!!!

We've gotta gives huge props to Jagermeister and our 1605 Family for all the love and support over the years. We couldn't pull this off without ya'! - SiX
