With influences such as Jack Johnson and Dave Matthews combined with The Black Eyed Peas and De La Soul, Six String Drum Machine has crossed the threshold into a unique style of music. This duo had hard hitting bass lines and kicks that thump along with the acoustic guitar to give it a smoother sound. Nate Back plays the acoustic guitar and vocals and Chris Jonlick is hip hop vocals and producer. Six String Drum Machine writes and produces all of their own tracks without samples.

Nate has been playing the acoustic guitar for over six years, and also plays the banjo and the mandolin. Music was embedded into his life at a very young age, as he grew up making music with his father. Nate also participated in an a cappella group for three years.

Chris has been making hip hop for over five years. He has played at many youth events, retreats, State Fairs, as well as local events. Chris has also established himself as a professional producer.
