DEEP SEEDED - 2005
The track 'Untie the Knot' being the first "local band" track to ever be played against a national act on Citadel radio station KATT 100.5 during Tony Z's Band to Band Combat. During the the nearly two week stint of challenges by many national acts SIX YEARS DEAD beat out many heavy hitters in the industry including Alice in Chains, Dave Navarro's The Panic Channel and many more only to be honorably defeated by the DEFTONES latest release. 'Untie the Knot' as well as several other songs from the DEEP SEEDED EP can be heard world wide on several radio stations, Citadel and Clear Channel Radio stations across the US and can also be heard streaming on internet radio across the globe.
Dead Army EP - 2007
The Dead Army LP features the song 'Dead Rabbits' which can be heard on the upcoming Sonic Onslaught 3 brought to you by Jamey Jasta's label Stillborn Records and Mindsnap Music. Past Sonic Onlslaught releases have featured Marc Rizzo, Icepick, Dead By Wednesday, 100 Demons and other industry greats. Dead Army EP songs are heard on both Citadel and Clear Channel rock stations throughout the US and streaming on numerous worldwide internet radio stations.
Many SIX YEARS DEAD songs from their extensive catalogue can also be heard on several indie films, underground feature films and documentaries.

Six Years Dead began in 2001 with only two members Rodney and Jason. The two brothers started out writing original songs and lyrics, eventually performing these songs with the music pre-recorded and a theatrical flare. All the while looking for talented musicians to amp up the live performance. Soon after playing OKC's Bricktown Live in 2004 Ernold, Travis, Kevin, Sean and Shetira all became a part of the 6.Y.D. family. Now writing and performing an extensive catalogue of original new and older songs the band has created a serious sound all thier own. The Six Years Dead sound has become synonymous with heavy music in Oklahoma after having built a name independently and with the support of local and national radio.
SIX YEARS DEAD and itÂ’s members are honored to have performed with the likes of MASTODON, ACID BATH, MUSHROOMHEAD, TYPE O NEGATIVE, PUNGENT STENCH, M.O.D., DRYLINE, LIFE OF AGONY, GOAT WHORE, DOPE, JACKNIFE, CRISIS and many more national, and international acts. Not to mention the many more to come. Six Years Dead has also played with many killer respected local acts...Days Of Grey, Severence, Skullpl8, Rikets, Horse Called War and Hinder to name a few. 6.Y.D. has been honored to share the stage with many talented musicians and are grateful to be a part of todays heavy music scene!
Six Years Dead's style definitely cannot be catagorized under any one style of rock. The band has many songs in which you can hear influences of heavy rock, funk, metal, jazz and even a bit of classical. The tight knit group of childhood friends, musical talent, and drive become a perfect mix for success.
