Out of the fire would come a much stronger and confident crew. With Louie V on Guitar and lead vocals, WillyMan on Keyboards/lead/backing vocals, and Matt Winnicki on Bass/Effects, and Joined by the talented Anthony Deso on the drums, (Previous bands include; funkshop loomis and the crittically acclaimed Level Head) the now legit band united to form Skadee, a rock, reggae, dub band with full intentions of exposing their style of music to the masses. After being together for only 6 months, the band has recorded a 5 song EP, and have played upwards of 30 shows including a sold out performance at Mad River In Albany NY, Opening for national bands like Trust Company, LO-PRO, Shootyz Groove, Fishbone, to regional bands IMI, & Dub is a Weapon. We released a self titled album with 5 songs on it in mid 2005. We also released a LIVE CD in Jan.2007 titled "LIVE AT REVOLUTION HALL"

Bio of SKADEE
This performer of dub and reggae rooted rock dishes out the addictive grooves and cool melodies in each and every song. Albany, NY’s Skadee is a band whose music is energetic, infectious and guaranteed to make an audience happy. Skadee proves its musical abilities by laying out all the right sounds and getting the listener in the mood to groove.
Knowing they’ve touched the audience is the best form of reward for the members of Skadee. It’s about having a good time and connecting with the people who are listening to the music you’ve poured your heart and soul into. “Music makes us feel like we are accomplishing something when the crowd reacts to our music. It’s a great feeling when people come up to you after the show and say, ‘Wow, you guys are awesome!’ It makes it all worth it.” With a band this good, that crowd reaction will happen every time.
If you don’t have a passion for music, hang it up. That being said, Skadee is exactly the kind of group that needs to be making music for the masses. “You’ve got to love what you do because if you don’t you will hate it in the end.” It’s the love that goes into every note that reveals just how devout Skadee is when it comes to songwriting and performing. “Music should always be fun.” It is this endless passion for music that drives Skadee. “The love of music inspires us.”
Skadee has opened for Rude Buddha, Ballyhoo, Part One Tribe, John Brown’s Body, Dubstate, Dubmissive and many more. The group has a number of performances set for the near future, as well. Writing is also ongoing. “We are always writing music. We have roughly 50 songs we have written so far and we are still pumping new ones out.” Skadee has just completed a nine-song EP called “Live at Revolution Hall”. The band is currently working with A&R Select, the leading A&R firm in Hollywood, CA
