Young bands are always on the rise, and most importantly ones that range from only 16-20 years old. Unsigned band, Skies of December from Cleveland, OH came out on the east-coast regional scene swinging a few years ago, and have played countless amounts of shows with notable acts such as Attack Attack!, Gwen Stacy, Broadway, Let's Get it!, I See Stars, Miss May I, Burden of a Day, We Came as Romans, and many more.
Skies constantly leave fans more than satisfied with their creative, visually alluring live show, and addictive song structure. They have combined emotional singing melodies, with heavy music from day one, and the results are exceptional, and truly recognized by all listeners willing to give them a chance.
Now, in Fall 2009, after previous lineup complications, the band have finally come into their own with a very impressive new lineup, featuring members from various regional and touring acts such as Salt the Wound, Reaching Your End, Cholera, The Screwtape Letters, etc. The guys have more ambition than ever, and have just released 2 brand new songs, freshly written and recorded at Dreadcore Productions in Waterford/Pontiac, Michigan. (And Hell Followed With - Earache Records)
Great things are in store for Skies of December and the many who follow them so positively. Join them? Your choice. Love them or hate them, Skies of December are here to stay.
