Bio
Solo recording of my own material is the latest (and absolutely the most rewarding) turn in a multi-decade musical career.
I began as a drummer in a successful local band during high school. We played throughout New England and then all attended the same college in Colorado, where we continued playing with even more success.
In 1967,we would be offered a contract by record company executives and were to be put on a national tour with a group of new up and coming acts, but told them we wanted to wait TO FINISH COLLEGE !!! (dumbest thing I ever did). Those acts were The Grateful Dead, The Jefferson Airplane, Moby Grape, and The Quicksilver Messenger Service! Needless to say.......
I did finish college however, and became a teacher, raised a family and continue to play and write both commercially (TV. movies, radio) and on the New England rock and roll music scene. It was also at this time that I truly got the burn to learn the guitar and dedicated nearly ALL my time to practicing and songwriting. I now spend a great time in my studio recording the music I have written. It is my passion !!!
