The music of SKMB (SKM banda) can be described as instrumental post rock influenced by jazz, folk and noise. Their songs are very dynamic and playful with smooth rhythm and melody changes forming a constant game between dreamy melancholia and driveish, explosive and uncompromising sounds.
In 10 years of existence the band has recorded 3 studio and one live album, toured several times across the Europe and gained the recognition as one of the best alternative bands from Slovenia. Lately the two guitars, bass and drums are changed or accompanied by ukulele, banjo and kalimbas, thus exploring the neo-folk and african sounds, which will be recorded on upcoming album set to release this years autumn.
