Skollar Rock & Witnesses of the Resurection

I was first introduced to music at the age of 9, and have been touched by it since. I began by writing songs to House music, which was a popular form of music, back in 84, in Chicago. I won many a battle throughout my high school years at Steinmetz, where I picked up my hip-hop diploma. I learned the art of rap through my senior year English Teacher, Mrs. Perry (Much love, RIP). She taught me the truth about alliteration, personification, metaphors, and the likes. Throughout the years it was a struggle to maintain, all since I have been given the label as being the family strongman. I am married and “Ready for Action” which was the title of the first set of lyrics that I wrote back in my youth. That was my past. I have endured many things that enable me to reach a wide range of people in my ministry.

Burn Unit Inc is a ministry based out of Chicago, IL. The rap group consists of solo artist that come together to do various events and projects, and recordings. Although all the members do not actually reside in the city of Chicago, it is the home base of the ministry and their primary focus. Burn Unit Inc is not just a rap group; the founders are also proprietors in other various ministries.

Larry A. Cochran “Skollar Rock”, is the founder of True Foundation Association, which is an outreach, stemming from Emmanuel Christian Center. He also has his own Consulting Company and up and coming gospel artist Management Company called Angle Point Music. Larry was born in Chicago and is a veteran of the United States Navy. He is also an ordained minister, and is also married to the pastor’s daughter. Being in the ministry, he stays focused by remembering his great commission found in Mark 16:15 “Go ye therefore into all the world and preach the gospel”.
