Bio
SKooBER is a pop/rock band from Elmira, NY that infuses modern power pop with a 60s pop sensibility and a touch of 70s classic rock. The band was started in late 2005 as a songwriting partnership between Andy Weaver and Tawni Bates. Between writing over 50 songs, composing themes for radio shows, recording demos, and attending college, the band grew to a 5 piece band by early 2007. The band's focus is on writing the best material they can and continually improving their craft and performances. Their influences include The Beatles, Cheap Trick, Fountains Of Wayne, Alice Cooper, The Raspberries and many others. SKooBER's music is fun, youthful, and always catchy. Their mix of modern and classic influences make them an enjoyable act for fans of all of ages.
