Bio

Skriptkeeper grew up in the suburbs of Long Island, New York. He was influenced by hip-hop at an early age. At age twelve he started toying with the idea of free styling and writing poetry. By age seventeen he was already recording in basement studios, and later progressed to professional recordings. Through the years of growing up Skriptkeeper has done numerous shows, which have attracted people of all ages and races. He is known to be a natural on stage and always gets the crowd going.
Skriptkeeper has also recorded numerous songs that people can relate to as well as dance to. After being discovered on a block in Brentwood, Long Island, he was introduced to G flex C.E.O. of K. G. records. Skriptkeeper was then signed to a compilation deal. This was not enough for him he wanted more! After making this connection, Skriptkeeper began working with other artists in the industry. These artists were Guru, Slick Rick, and The Gravediggaz from Wutang, Jadakiss, and OJ Honda. Skriptkeeper has also opened up for numerous artists, too many to name. Upon entering the underground, he was brought to open mic showcases and MC battles. After embracing the underground circuit he quickly advanced on stage and lyrically. Years passed by and Skriptkeeper saw other MC’s that were close to him get record deals. He felt it was his time to do the same. He then organized a team and foundation in Long Island. Where he attacked mix tapes with singles from two solo albums he put out himself. This caught the eye of the legend rapper Parrish Smith of EPMD. They soon began to work together and later recorded a song and video for the Long Island Extreme racing documentary. One year later Parrish (PMD) asked Skript to go on tour with him and the Hit Squad. Skriptkeeper joined him and his crew and took on the job of Parrish's hype man and open act.
Now realizing the potential to travel and entertain people all over the world through hip-hop, Skriptkeeper has made this his long-term goal and has struggled to make it. He has spent half of his lifetime in studios recording. Skriptkeeper has tons of unrecorded material jotted down in notebooks. His ability to freestyle is amazing, you give him a subject and he can rip it up. Now in 2004 after recording enough material for four albums, he knows that the world of hip-hop will embrace his style and delivery over banging beats with open arms. Skriptkeeper is full of energy and is sure to get in side your head. He is very outgoing and can adapt to any situation as well as rhyme to any beat. His ability to tell a story can open the mind of an eighty five-year-old man. An MC like Skriptkeeper is a rare commodity and only come once a lifetime. . Anyone can write a song, but the truth is how the song can make a person feel- without a doubt Skriptkeeper has that covered from every angle.
