SK! Street Knowledge

Individual names are Stylez and Kardo. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica. But before there was such a group named (SK), three friends formed the group T.M.X (True Musical Xperience) the year 2003.

Throughout High School they gained enormous amount of experience by performing at various types of events. After High School, two out of the three friends decided to make music their career and was ready to take the world by storm in the year 2005. Little did they know that the journey was yet to begin.

After leaving School they realize that it would not be as easy as they had thought. A year after trying to make ends meet and only having themselves and one side of their family and friends to encourage them. Late nights at various local studios was the thing. Doing practically nothing but seeking connections to invest into the talent that they humbly but eagerly awaits to unleash unto the world in a way that has never been seen or heard before. They then went through some serious soul searching and decided to create a thugged out but at the same time likable image that the ladies would druel for.

In the year 2006 they renamed themselves (SK-Street Knowledge) and finally decided to do a (16 track Mix Tape) self tittled (Street Knowledge), that was to be released into the streets of Kingston Jamaica. But God had other plans for these two amazing individuals (SK). Upon the peek of their release party (Stylez) was told that his immigration papers had came through and he would have to leave the following week.

The duo was then separated for a month. After that month the group was back together ready to work. They then decided to take a big step that would change the way they saw music. (SK) then released their ( 16 track Mix Tape) free of cost into the streets of North Carolina.

Thanks to the help and persistence of (Sonia and Anthony Beckford) and (Sk's) unique quality sound they started getting tremendous response from all over the Triad. (SK) have been getting regular air plays on popular radio stations such as 102jamz, 90.1fm and 107.5fm.

They have currently started their own independent record label "Blaze Entertainment" where they produce/compose beats, lyrics and own song productions which they are now utilizing to work on their latest projects.
