"KEXP REVIEWS ON CD AND DEMO"

Review

6/1/2006 Skullbot - Skullbot (self-released)
The Stanwood high school trio follows up their demo EP with a blistering full-length of mind-melting hard rock. Co-produced by Conrad Uno and the band, the album brings greater clarity to Skullbot’s heavy sound. While it’s still pretty easy to hear their influences (Nebula, Mudhoney, Sabbath), they’ve grown into one fearsomely tight band. As a bonus, the album also includes their kick-ass KEXP live in-studio performance from earlier this year. - Don Yates
Review

1/16/2006 Skullbot - Skullbot (demo)
This Stanwood, WA trio's ferocious, riff-heavy stoner rock sounds like a bad-ass combination of Nebula, Fu Manchu, Mudhoney and Sabbath, and they have the chops to back it up, though they're all still in high school. They deserve to be produced by Jack Endino and touring with the Valley. - Don Yates

Discography

We have three tracks off our demo that have been getting consistent airplay, and we are making a cd at egg studios in seattle pretty soon.

Bio

We are an energetic 3-piece rock band that can really put on a fun live show. We are highly influenced by the 70's rock and the underground scene. We have been described in The Stranger as "Melodic, heavy desert rock." People at our shows are always having a good time. We have played places in Seattle like the sunset tavern, Chop Suey, and pretty soon the High Dive. We sound different than a lot of other bands because of our influences. We keep it plain and simple. Rock. We have been getting airplay on KEXP a lot and have been getting compliments from a lot of other bands and people. And people can't believe that were all 18 and sounding how we do.
