Bio

Tobogganography

Born deep in the mountains of Rock and Roll on August 1, 1998, Skulltoboggan immediately began its descent upon the masses to unleash its furious mixture of hard rock, metal, stoner rock, punk, surfer rock and hardcore. Dubbed by a loyal "Sledhed" as "Alcoporngroovecore" this eclectic collection of musicians, in various forms, have been assaulting the New England venues and airwaves with regularity, in hopes of delivering their sonic textures to a larger market.

With founding members Robert ‘Skullbob’ Eurenius Jr. (Guitar, Backing Vocals) and Craig Steven ‘G*Spawt’ Gaumond (Lead Vocals) still in the fold, the players aside them have changed, but the mission remains the same. And that is, to present an energetic, captivating performance each and every time that they take to the stage.

In July 2005, Eric ‘E-Dawg’ Corbett made the successful transition from Bass Guitar to Drums. This move has brought stability to the position, which provides a solid foundation for the rhythm section to operate as a cohesive unit.

After ‘E-Dawg’s’ transfer to skins, Heath ‘The Missing Link’ Thayer was recruited to take over the Bass Guitar duties. ‘The Missing Link’ brings a very natural yet adventurous style to the mix that has allowed the band to expand into new regions. Paired with ‘E-Dawg’, this lethal combination truly provides "The Bottom Heavy Groove That Makes Your Ass Move".

And rounding out this lineup is the one and only John ‘Johnny Walker Black’ Lamonda (Guitar, Backing Vocals). ‘JWB’ was added to the mix in 2002 and this local, left-handed, six string whiz has provided the finishing touches on what has proved to be the most solid collection ever assembled in the toboggan.
