Bio

Black Box Entertainment presents Skandal, also known as SK. SK is a fierce 19-year-old rapper coming at you from the School Street Neighborhood in Fairfax, Virginia, also known as NOVA. Young in his age… but his mature, versatile, razor-sharp lyrics thoroughly express his struggles, which gives him a sound that surpasses his 19 years. SK signed with Black Box Entertainment in December 2005, and was featured on the company’s first release… FACE’ N THA STREETZ MIXTAPE Vol.1, hosted by II The Wild Boy of DC’s 93.9 WKYS, in May of 2006. SK has performed all around the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area in numerous spots, including the legendary Club Fur. Right now his street monsters “Til’ The Wheels Fall Off” and “Same Ole, Same Ole” are circulating on mixtapes and websites all across the world. His numerous collaborations include, but are not limited to, songs with current lablemates Face and Plex Long as well as NOVA shining stars Bone Corelone (Criminal 3lements), Young Leph, and Showdown. In 2005 SK experienced his first commercial radio airplay when WKYS 93.9 MetroBangaz debuted FACE’s street classic “Don’t Do it To Urself” featuring SK. Off stage he has a low key and quiet demeanor, which often leaves crowds in disbelief when he then turns and explodes with a unique high-energy performance and confident stage presence. Don’t let the age fool you… SK has written over 40 songs and is soon to release his own mixtape presented by Black Box Entertainment in November 2006, with a solo album soon to follow. Join SK’s journey, as the next “VA ALL-STAR” to rise to the forefront of hip-hop.
