Skyfoot

SKYFOOT is a high energy rock and roll band from Boston, MA. Forming in December 2010 as the result of several jam sessions, Skyfoot have been playing together with the goal of creating music that has no stylistic limit. Each members influences combine to form a catalog of original music that ranges from funk and rock, to country/blue grass, sonic landscapes, fusion, gospel and more. Before Skyfoot, the band developed great chemistry by playing over 100 shows together as part of boston jam rock band Mondo Gecko. Skyfoot continues to evolve with an ever growing list of original tunes, surprise covers, improvisation and musical explorations.

In February of 2012 Skyfoot announced the release of their debut album "Eternal Bend". Recorded in the summer of 2011 in Boston, this full length disc features fan favorites such as "Maybe Mississippi" as well as new tracks "Doohickey" and "Mountain". Eternal Bend spans genres such as country, funk, blues, psychedelic rock and more.

Since forming they have shared the stage with great bands such as Kung Fu, Tom Constanten (formerly of the Grateful Dead), Dopapod, Consider the Source, The Macpodz, Spiritual Rez, The Breakfast and more.
