Bio
I am a 21yr old Singer/Songwriter brought up in Orewa, Auckland. I have loved music my whole life and have been singing since I was 3yrs old.I was brought up by my solo mother and she has encouraged me in my passion for music. I am heavily influenced by artists such as; Beyonce, Florence And The Machine, Coldplay, Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys and Adele. Along with writing piano ballads, I am writing songs that are driven by unique drum beats and heavy catchy hooks.
Am currently writing and preparing to record my Debut Album which will be released in 2013.
Was one of the 6 finalists chosen for Auckland University's Songwriter of the Year competition and have been working as a session musician as well.
Was also Placed in the American Songwriter Competition 'Song of the Year' 2012 as Runner Up.
Primary instrument is vocals and piano.
What sets me apart from other bands is my diversity as a writer and performer and the ability to draw from such diverse influences and create a unique sound.
