After their tour of the East Coast of the U.S, including gigs in New York City, Skylark Blue brings back to singer and guitarist Johan Emil Westerberg's homeland, the unrefined Americana roots music to their modern, original sound.
They return to promote their album "Open Road." As always, Skylark Blue delivers a hopeful message in easy riding melody and rhythm. They will be playing venues throughout Sweden over the next couple months. Skylark Blue's music eliminates those Swedish winter blues by taking you on a musical journey. Check them out!

Skylark Blue sprung out of Berkeley, California. Like the mysterious fog rolls over the bay one knows not what it will unveil. It did not take long for this team to be seen throughout the San Francisco area.
It´s literally impossible to describe the Sound of Skylark Blue in words, simply because the flavor finds it´s course depending on the energy in motion.
The journey you take with Skylark Blue leads you away from the static that drains your soul and steals the human spirit.
Skylark Blue loves all that is wild and wonderful and explores music with such trailblazing sentiment so the listener is surely to be taken for a sweet sound safari.
Skylark Blue has been seen around the Bay Area, Greenwich Village, Brooklyn and through Appalachia. In Europe, they have shared their Acoustic Americana sound in the UK, Sweden and Spain.
Skylark Blue is and always been a live band! Afterwards you feel like you have find your way home, to who you are and not the person with broken wings.
