Bio

Formed over a years span from 5 misfits from the Granby CT area, Sky Swamp Orange consists of Noel Levvis, Ronnie Champagne, John Read, Hunter Olin, and the elusive Sipho. The two oldest first met in high school during their freshman year. In 2007 Ronnie and Noel started jamming everyday after school with long time friend Josh "Wolf" Antoine and after years of on again, off again bands/projects and different albums released, the 3 friends reunited to form the band Shaded Grace. Shaded Grace would go on to involve more members and release a few projects. In 2014 the group disbanded for various reasons and Noel went on to release his first solo project, "Grass Roots". While in the process of working on his next solo album, Noel started bringing in Ronnie to help him work on it. The two eventually starting messing around with different sounds and ideas which started to become it's own monster. The two decided that these songs needed their own home rather than just on one of Noel's albums, and thus Sky Swamp Orange was born. After months of tinkering on songs, Ronnie asked a friend of his, John Read, if he was interested in playing live bass for them. He happily accepted the invitation and proved that he should have his own, full time place in the band. After a long heave of work, The boys released the 5 track "Closet Bones" EP that they had been working on. Now it was time to take it live. They searched all around for a drummer, but didn't have luck finding one that was a good fit until Ronnie and John decided to ask a friend of theirs, Hunter Olin. Hunter soon proved to be dedicated and promising member. Shortly after they started playing their first string of shows. Due to the high production value of their music, they found that the live aspect was lacking something. They bounced around ideas of backing tracks but that just wasn't what they were looking for. Lan Amore's brother came around and soon joined the band as a multi instrumentalist. Once they hit the scene as a 5 piece, there was no looking back. They are currently working on their second album; writing, recording, engineering, producing, and composing the entire project themselves.
