Skyview Drive is a young rock band based just south of Boston, Massachusetts. The band, greatly influenced by well known artists such as Thursday, Thrice, Coheed and Cambria, and Saves the Day, fuses aspects of many different music styles to create a powerful form of experimental rock and roll.
Skyview Drive consists of Jeff Walker (Vocals), John King (Drums), Steve Ackles (Guitar), Tim Moody (Guitar), and Sam Wills (Bass). With an average age of just 16 years, the band hopes to play as many shows and gigs as possible to get their music out to the general public. In addition to playing out as often as possible, the band will be heading to New York to begin recording new material this summer.
The band has already played shows with well known local bands such as The Northwood, Guns Like Girls, Faraway, Hometown Anthem, A Loss for Words and Frequency Needs A Mate, and they plan to continue playing shows with these bands in the future.
The members of Skyview Drive maintain a positive and non-egotistic attitude and constantly strive to improve their music. They have a deep appreciation for their fans and listeners. They acknowledge the importance of their fan base in passing their music on to new potential fans. They also appreciate all those who give them a chance.
Their most recent work, found in "What If They Knew" was recorded by Mark Alan Miller at Slaughterhouse Recording Studio in Westhampton, Massachusetts. All music is written, arranged and performed by Skyview Drive. All lyrics written by Jeff Walker.
