"Popworld Promotes Review"

Slashed Seat affair caught our eye the moment they signed up to POPWORLD PROMOTES. Having played at some of the UK's biggest festivals, we really do recommend you go see them while the door prices are still reasonable. The PROMOTES team has seen them live a few times now and their gigs mix seemlessly between electro pop and indie rock. We are sure they'll be signed pretty soon. – Popworld Promotes

"Absolutely INCREDIBLE!"

Hi guys, I saw you play last night at The Fly and I just wanted to say that I thought you were absolutely INCREDIBLE!

I know you probably get that a lot, but I don't usually go in for band-type music - I'm more into electronic, dance stuff - and I was really surprised to find myself loving, and appreciating, every minute of your set... I just wish you could have played for longer - and I do SO hope you get a recording contract very, very soon (if you haven't already)!

I'm going to recommend Slashed Seat Affair, and pass on your info, as much as I can, in the hope that it could help...

Good luck guys - and thanks again for a great experience! Jx

"the New Recipe for Success"

3 talented musicians and a brilliant female vocalist: the new recipe for success. At least it's proved that way by Slashed Seat Affair.

Opener 'Connected' is a storming track, with moody guitars and strong, clear vocals. The style of their music is pop, only with a darker edge that works in their favour. Certainly, with 'Under The Radar' the riffs are anything but pop, and the drums are menacing in the background. There's no chance this lot will go under the radar with songs like this!

My favourite track would be radio friendly 'Immune'. An infectious beat laced with catchy, sing-a-long vocals. The brilliant guitar riffs are there, yet are used sparingly, creating a sense of anticipation as the vocals dip away from after the chorus. This is truly a brilliantly crafted track.

Check these guys out. They have the look and sound to make an impact in today's music climate.

"Dutch radio"

I just found out i've been airing "Don't be afraid" for 5 consecutive weeks in a row! The reason is plain simple: It's such a great song!!! :) - DJ Ronnie Van Schenkhof

"Industry types who could not take their eyes and ears off the band"

Slashed Seat Affair slinked in next with their feisty front-woman Ellie, sporting Kinky White Boots, rather than her now mythical, nay, legendary (in the Tourdates.Co.UK camp at least) Sexy Red Shoes; with a sound that matched and a healthy following of Industry types who could not take their eyes and ears off the band and their slicing alternative sonic imagery, things look set fair for Slashed Seat Affair!
