Bio

Sleep Architect (formerly known as The Ethereal Union) is made up of 4 musicians who take their music serious and want others to enjoy it as much as they do.

Sleep Architect is an assemblage of the talents of Cameren Dale, Jared Christianson, Chance Strickland and Brandon Aguilar. Together they have created a euphoric sonic exploration of all things exquisite and glorious. The sound they craft takes you into a world where music reigns supreme, the plight of the everyday world melts away as their harmonious accolades wash upon all who wish to absorb it.

Cameren was influenced by all kinds’ music from an early age. He moved from Texas back to his home state, California. This was where he took his personal love of music to the next level and began singing, taking from his past experience of his days in choir. Later on he recorded a few songs at an acquaintances’ home studio. This cd fell into the hands of two local musicians looking for a singer for their band. He came over and practiced once and everything fell into place.

Chance, now 20, started playing guitar at about 8 years old. He is now an accomplished guitar player and has a range from Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eddie Van Halen, Darrell Abbott, and beyond. He is also a talented songwriter & lyricist composing the songs for his other band, Arkaik, with the help of Jared. He owns & plays a Gibson Explorer, an Ibanez 7 string, and 2 Jackson guitars, plus an acoustic/electric. He is currently attending collage and plans to focus on music production and recording.

Jared, 20, states: I have always been musically inclined, so at the age of 10 I got my first guitar. I started out with punk and played guitar on and off until I met Chance Strickland in sixth grade. He got me into the heavy music of that time like Korn and Deftones. We played guitar side by side for few years and then we met our first drummer and formed Arkaik. I started playing guitar for Arkaik, which lasted for awhile until I felt the need to take over on vocals. I made my biggest musical decision in early 2006 and that was to play drums. Chance and I started a side project called The Ethereal Union and I’ve been non-stop drumming since then. I plan to master the drums as I have done with my other instruments.

Brandon got into music at a young age, listening to genres of many kinds. He became heavily motivated to pursue musical endeavors at around 7th grade. His father bestowed upon him his old acoustic guitar. Thus began Brandon’s foray into the wonderful musical world. He heard Ethereal needed a bass player and quickly jumped on board.
