Bio
Sleeping Shock was born in June 2009 in Alberobello (BA). Thanks to the collaboration between Vittorio Martellotta (guitars), Livio Colucci (keyboards), Francesco Balena (bass).
The group decided to carry a style of Progressive Metal, Alternative Metal and Hard Rock.
The group started playing at small venues in Alberobello, and in nearby towns with more ambition as well as creating more original material
Gianfranco Micoli was welcomed as our new vocalist.
In August 2011, the band received The Critics Award in the E'vento Rock Musical Festival.
In February 2012, the band entered the final stage of the Golem Dungeon Contest, one of the most famous Metal Contests held in Southern Italy
On April 27 2012, Sleeping Shock win the Golem Dungeon Contest. This will allow them to produce their first full length album using the Golem Dungeon Studio.
The band are pleased to announce their new drummer, Antonio Grassi
On July 31 2012, Sleeping Shock performed at Total Metal Festival, sharing the stage with Testament, Dark Funeral, Sadist and many more...
