Bio

Milwaukee's Sleep Serapis Sleep hit the ground running in 2007, booking producer Joey Sturgis (The Devil Wears Prada, My Children My Bride) for a recording session that would eventually yield its first EP. With flourishing local and online interest, the band was voted by fans onto Milwaukee's Warped Tour lineup and released the album to a capacity audience at the Miramar Theatre, later that year. The band organized tours throughout the midwest with an unwavering do-it-yourself ethos, as local following quickly became regional. In 2009, the band's increasing popularity leveraged its regard as a top independent band in the nation from the likes of Alternative Press, Amp and Crescendo magazines. While spreading their independent touring schedule across 30+ states, the band found itself featured on several dozens of college and localized radio stations across the US before releasing a second, self-produced EP which garnered the attention of several record labels.

In recent months, the band was asked to play main stage at Summerfest, the world's largest music festival, as direct support to The Devil Wears Prada, August Burns Red tour package. Currently, the band is fresh out of a recording session with Castle Ultimate's Zack Ohren (The Ghost Inside, As Blood Runs Black), and is angling for the release of its first full length, and most technical, engaging endeavor yet, “Pariah's Vow”.
