Closing the evening was SleepTV and with a polished performance that left an impression on the crowd. With five members and twin guitars, there's plenty to draw the attention and they have a great sound to boot. Vocalist Chris White does a dandy job out front of the band, really adding to the commingling of indie styles. Guitarists William and Chris have a dynamic that's an amalgam of guitar pop and garage rock, often morphing into a veritable wall of sound that fits with the driving cadence of the rhythm section. There's some identifiable influences, namely The Stone Roses, The Dandy Warhols and Oasis, but SleepTV don't hold onto them too tightly, they stamp their own sound on every track, all of which makes for a highly engrossing listen. - Tristan Broomhall for Drum Media Perth

A mix of age, influence & geography has brought together five lads who have high ambitions. Chris Ashton (guitar/vocal), Will Wallefeld (guitar) & Chris White (lead vocal) formed SleepTV circa 2005. The superb Greg Schroeder (bass) & incredible Sam Pugsley (drums) complete this original & very exciting act.
The boys live in and around the city of Perth, Western Australia. An interesting tale of fate brings the lads together to form this very honest and energetic band.
All the guys have had to work hard in their lives and come from very hard working backgrounds. Their music is their life and everyone who knows them understands how hard they have all worked to get the band to their current position.
If you haven’t seen a good band for a while then do yourself a favour. Come and share the fun times and the passion with Sleep TV. No egos here, just damn good original tunes. Written by the people, for the people.
