The fact that Slick Frenzy hails from the all over the states is a big factor for his unique sound. Born in Indiana and raised in South Carolina, the dialects and accents were bound to mix to create the vibe felt on each project he makes. Described by some as east coast lyrics over west coast sounds, Slick's music is infectious and timeless.
After performing at each talent show and school play, including a musical directed by Debbie Allen, it was apparent that Slick was born to touch the mic. Yet it wasn't until his sophomore year of college that he looked at music as a career. In 2014 he released the free mixtape No Gimmicks. The tape was well received and connected Slick with both GTD and OneAgenda. During that time he was also considered for a deal with Da Truth's Mixed Bag Label and reached the #1 spot on Reverb Nation for his region.
As he prepares for the arrival of The DiZconnect, he continues to push himself in every avenue of life. Extremely driven and excited, Slick invites you to join him on his journey. By the way, the top is down.
