Slide

Slide is a progressive contemporary band based out of Red Deer Alberta, combining a wide variety of styles in their music. From jazz standards such as Four by Miles Davis to the pop sensation Jason Mraz and his tune I’m Yours; Slide is known for having a little something for everyone. Jerome de Gourville & Bryce Hocken are the singers of the four-part band. They both play guitar while Hocken also plays tenor saxophone. Graham Harper provides the bass for the band and Ryan Yasinski provides the kit creating the rhythm section for the band. All four members have attended and are soon graduating from the Music Program at Red Deer College and heading out into the gig scene.

The members of Slide are all from central Alberta and have been together for roughly a year. They are willing to travel western Canada for performance opportunities and are flexible to an audience’s wants and needs when selecting styles of music. Venues they have played include the Centennial of North Red Deer, Weddings throughout the summer and Pub shows at the Vat in Downtown Red Deer.
The band looks to expand their experiences and provide the best quality live music and various styles and genres the industry has to offer.
