Slideways is a three-piece band hailing from Roanoke, Virginia, a town in which they all grew up together, becoming close friends through the years. This familiarity has developed into a natural musical chemistry that lends itself to spontaneous creativity while maintaining each musician's style and influences. Their music is a rough blend of reggae, blues, and rock with comparisons ranging from Sublime and G. Love, to Kings of Leon and The Black Keys. The band's primary goal is to create great original music with an emphasis on entertaining live performances.
