The single is self-written by Lennox “Slim I.D.” Turner and produced by Ramoon and Roc Legion, which will be available for worldwide consumption on December 7th, 2022.
“Badness is a mere glance of a typical day where I’m from. It’s a mixture of being a lady’s man with a little street in the mix. Life is about balance and ladies love a man that gives them the best of both world” stated Slim I.D.
Badness is the first official single from the upcoming NINO 2 mixtape.

Slim I.D. is a songwriter based in Falmouth, Jamaica. Influenced by artists such as Lil Wayne, Eminem, Future, Drake and Nipsey Hussle. He is a Hip Hop/ Rap artist emerging on the scene with a mixture of raw lyricism, and witty punchlines. Slim I.D. has been gaining a growing reputation as one of the forefront hip hop/rap artists hailing from the small island of Jamaica, and the Caribbean respectively.
Bursting on the scene in 2011, with the release of his mixtape titled Success Story, the Jamaican MC was on what was deemed a precarious journey by many prospective fans and critics, due to Reggae and Dancehall being the more prominent genre within Jamaica; The young MC used this to fuel his work ethic.
After gaining some attention, and momentum over a 2 year span; In 2013 He was invited to perform on Hype TV, a premier entertainment television program in Kingston, Jamaica. Not many artists locally in the genre of Hip hop has ever graced said stage. Slim I.D. displayed the confidence of a well seasoned artist with great stage presence and clarity which lead to him having multiple music videos being aired in rotation daily on the channel.
After a small hiatus due to pursuing a bachelor's degree at the University of Technology, Jamaica. Slim I.D. burst back on to the scene after graduating with "Popshit" and "Options" between 2016-17. Two singles that lead Slim I.D. to a new journey and sound in his rap career.
Popshit was premiered on the popular local radio station SUNCITY FM as "Poppin" and "Options" later on aired on NewsTalk FM.
In 2018, he then released an (EP) titled Nino which boasts features from frequent collaborators Rosh Rebel, Ballany, and Sauce. The EP was well received by fans and also the prospective audience accumulating over 5000 Streams across all platforms.
