Slings

Slings is a two-piece folk rock band from Orange, California. They have been playing in and around the areas of Orange County, Long Beach and Los Angeles since 2004. For live shows, David Pope and Dustin Poulton are joined by a talented bunch of friends to bring their sound to life.
Released in the summer of 2008, The Old Hopeful Trail is the debut full length album from Slings. The album incorporates an eclectic mixture of folky rhythms, stomped out percussive beats, good old fashioned rock, sincerely delivered lyrics that are both introspective and universal at the same time and a bunch of other good stuff.
