SLOT

Slot-band was made in 2002. In 2003 they published their first album produced by "Mystery Of Sound" and during the 4 years of selling there were sold over 10000 copies. The debut video on a song "Odni" was in rotation on MTV for about a half of year. The song "Lyudi Vo Sne" became the winner of a program "Hudsovet" on Our Radio and the song "Chaos" was noticed by the listeners of a program "Podzemka". In autumn 2005 the band became the nominant (?) of the Russian premium RAMP in a category "The best vocal of the year". And from the words of frontman of a legend American nu-metal band KORN Jonathan Davis SLOT was the revelation of this event. Together with KORN SLOT came out in St.-Petersburg's Ice Palace (?) and on MSA in Luzhniki in Moscow. During its existence the band gave a good account of itself when became a bright star with two songs in "Bumer" soundtrack. Thanks to the striking music charisma SLOT became a participant of a "pirate" soundtrack for the movie "Day Watch". The band also showed up in soundtrack to the much-talked-of blockbuster "Hunting for piranha" and in numerous collections like Nashestvie, Scang Fest, Rock Watch and so on. In spring 2006 SLOT published 2nd album named "2 Wars". The CD came out on an independent label "Em and Nem" and only for 3 months selling got over 8000 copies. At the moment SLOT is on tour. They are giving concerts in many Russian cities and coming out with the stars of native rock-stage (Animal Jazz, Dolphin) and western bands (Clawfinger, Samael). =))
