"Small Town Runaway is the music of Canadian singer-songwriter Christine Sherrington. Born and raised in rural Ontario and currently based on the West Coast, she has always been a lover of songs that tell a story. Raw, honest and with a voice described as both smokey and soulful, Small Town Runaway is a blend of new and outlaw country.
As a band, Small Town Runaway plays regularly in Whistler and other venues along the Sea to Sky Corridor. They have been featured on radio stations such as Mountain FM 102.1 and 105.9 The Region in Ontario and have been finalists in contests including 'Be the Best Play the Fest' to perform at the Pemberton Music Festival. "
