Bio
Theres something to be said about a band that drives to make music for all the right reasons. In
an industry that has become shallow and superficial, it is always a welcome change to hear a
band that produces a refreshing sound. Smaller on You is the band you want to sing along with
at shows, pump through your car speakers while ripping down the interstate, and have blasting
through your parents house while throwing the biggest house party your neighbours have ever
witnessed. Yes, theyre that band.
Weighing in at a combined weight of 734 pounds and having a knack for writing short lived but
long lasting pop songs
Smaller on You is Jon Desilva, Eric Gilmore, Alex Grant and Will
Plummer. This pop-punk-rock quartet has been bringing their energetic and fun-loving live
performance to Eastern Ontario for the past year. Their pop-sensitive vocal melodies
and driving guitars can keep any crowd singing long after leaving town.
The main focus of Smaller on You is having a good time while doing what they love to do most
make music and have fun. The band makes a conscious effort to bring a message of embracing
the good things in life. Whether its hanging out with friends, daydreaming about the future to
come or reflecting on past memories, Smaller on You will find the good in it. Then they will get
in your face and bring it until you bring it back.
In the short lived life of Smaller on You, the hard-working members have managed to play
countless shows in Ontario, recorded two studio demos, and have shot two music videos
including their latest for the single There is no emoticon for what Im feeling right now. With
plans to tour forever and get every song out of their basement, and into listeners ears, there is
no stopping Smaller on You.
