THE STORY:

Beyond the hustle and bustle and city lights, there is a back road that leads to a place still littered with corner stores and candy shops, and for Small Town Sleeper (STS), it's a place called home.

As a four piece pop/rock band from rural Ohio, Troy Brown (Singer), Derek Snowden(Guitar), Ryan Monge (Bass) and Dann Burd (Drums) know all too well how to stand out in a crowd. By pouring passionate storytelling into hook filled radio ready pop/rock, STS has drawn national attention. With national tours as main support for Multi-Platinum acts DAUGHTRY, CANDLEBOX and SEVEN MARY THREE, and national radio campaigns landing their single “Backseat” in the top 30 on the indicator charts, STS has developed a loyal and strong following that still has fans driving from all over the country to see a show.

Building on an already impressive career, STS is ready to follow up their debut national release “Conversations”. While the first album lead them literally all over the world, with tracking done in NYC at the famed “Electric Lady Studios”, Strings recorded and arranged by famed composer David Campbell (Goo Goo Dolls, Bon Jovi) at the Capitol Records studio in LA, and vocals done at a private studio just outside London, to say the release was “well traveled and top notch” would be an understatement. “CONVERSATIONS” included the single “Backseat” and the follow up “The Part that Walks Away” co-written with Nashville-based, Grammy Nominated Producer/songwriter Rob Graves (RED). Using contacts developed over the years of heavy touring and industry networking, STS has already started production on their highly anticipated sophomore album. Initial tracks have been recorded and produced by Brian Craddock (DAUGHTRY) and mixed by Greg Archilla (SAFETYSUIT,MATCHBOX 20).
