Minneapolis-based artist Smart Guy Chevelle is delivering the hottest hip-hop sounds out of Minneapolis with his cutting edge yet traditional hip-hop foundation along with some of his songs being uniquely infused with an electro hop twist. His super smooth vocal delivery interlaces within each track as if the productions where made only for him. Under MusicRetox Entertainment they have been laying the foundation, and creating music for the much-anticipated Train Of Thought Vol. 1 My Story, and the video for his highly anticipated single entitled All Day Everyday. Smart Guy Chevelles fresh out the box tunes have already been sparking through the indie music scenes of the Mid-West, South, and East Coast radio and he is tipped to blow large in 2013. His live shows are already the stuff of Minneapolis Legend performing with his signature lens less frames, and Smart Guy attire a Must-see. In 2012 Smart Guy Chevelle set venues on fire with his 16-date 4 state tour throughout Minnesota, New York, Oklahoma, and Texas. In September 2011, Smart Guy Chevelle would release the single All Day Everyday and it was dubbed as Adrian Peterson Theme Song. The song would be played in the Metrodome during vikings games along with the hook being played every time Adrian received a rushing first-down. All Day Everyday is a single from his 2012 Train of Thought Mixtape through MusicRetox Entertainment which is currently on available on Itunes. The song tells a story about self motivation, overcoming doubt and adversity along with an important message to children about self confidence. The surprise guest in the video caught the attention of many internet listeners & bloggers. Smart Guy Chevelle would play the role of a teacher in which included Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings as the school Principal, and Ragnar one the Vikings token mascots as the school janitor. In late July the music video for All Day Everyday was release, and went up to 30,000+ views in approximately 3 days with coverage from the local media. All Day Everyday was the rocket that boosted him into the mainstream music scene. Smart Guy Chevelle has also release a track entitled My City in which it has been played in the Target Center of the Minnesota Timberwolves and as used as a song for them to warm up to. Since then he has been featured one of the biggest music sites in MTV.com, MTVU.com, & more. With his increasing awareness his fan base has grown rapidly over 100,000+ fans since late 2010. MTV.com would help provide the stamp Smart Guy Chevelle needed with his first appearance for MTVs Suckerfree. Since then, his fan base has began to grow on a global scale. Smart Guy Chevelle is also the winner of 2012 Minneapolis Hip Hop Idol sponsored by Red Bull in March. Smart Guy Chevelle has also lead a Gang Intervention Charity Basketball Game in Lawton, OK in April of 2012 in which the efforts where to help bring awareness and a stop to some of the since-less violence that has been occurring in the area. Smart Guy Chevelle currently is working on his new project, Alpha Geek set to be released in the later part of 2012 Smart Guy Chevelle has definitely became breath of fresh air for Minneapolis.
