SMASH INTO PIECES - BIOGRAPHY}

Smash into Pieces is a new young Alternative/Rock band who's not ashamed of their American influences. Their sound could be described as heavy and hard but not without a sense of melody and a flair for a hit sound. Bands in the same category include Alter Bridge, Creed, Three Days Grace and Nickelback.

Guitarist Benjamin Jennebo, founder of Smash into Pieces, reluctantly moved with his family to rural countryside as a teenager. His passion for music was discovered as he hung out at the local music coop night after night, listening in on rehersals. When he later received his first electric guitar his future as a musician was inevitable.

2007-2008 Benjamin spent searching for members who could match his big dreams of a career in music. Early on he found the young talent Isak Snow, only 13 years of age at the time. The bass player Viktor Vidlund came not long after and in 2008 they found the melodious and powerful singer Chris Adam Hedman Sörbye, entirily by chance as Benjamin found himself at a jam session at a nearby school, Chris Adam had a hard time growing up being diognoused with ADHD, but now he had found his passion in life. Per Bergquist later joined as a session guitarist but is now a permanent member of the band.

Smash into Pieces made it into Swedish TV4 talent show "Sweden..s got talent" in 2009 but after being offered a spot in the semi finals the band dropped out of the competition to sign a record deal with Ninetone Records. Their first album "A New Tomorrow" Will be realeased this winter
