Smile, Sweetheart.

The name gives it all away. You cannot help but smile when you hear the beautifully crafted sounds of Smile, Sweetheart. The man behind the music is multi-instrumentalist and bedroom recording artist, Ryan Siegert. He made his first EP titled, Drifting Through Space, in his bedroom at the age of 20. Within a week of being available on the internet, the album had over 1,000 hits worldwide. He has a large Chicago following that remain very loyal, and very eager for more. He performed his first show with fellow Chicago native, Breathe Electric. The show had such a good turn out, Smile, Sweetheart was given the opportunity to open for Panic! At The Disco and Patrick Stump in Milwaukee, WI. Although he has only been playing shows for less than a year, he has already been noticed and acknowledged for his dedication and talent. Songs from his debut album have been featured on several different internet radio websites, including, speaker.com and last.fm. There is a large following out of India, Indonesia and the Philippines which proves that his music is capable of breaking through any language barrier. Smile, Sweetheart has a very catchy, pop sound to the likings of Owl City, The Postal Service and HelloGoodbye. The sky is the limit, and for this young artist, he is already drifting through space.
