Discography
First proper package of songs is ready to sell at gigs - 8 tracks, called In A Box. Before that I have recorded and handed out a lot of single songs at gigs and played live on Fresh Air (Edinburgh Uni student radio) twice.

A unique and memorable sound reminiscent of Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainwright and other iconic singer-songwriters - this is what I have been told by managers in the music industry, other musicians and many people in the audience (including a man at an open mic I did in Edinburgh who fell down some steps in his rush to talk to me after I'd played! I bought him a drink). I greatly admire these artists and can see links with my wide use of instrumentation and meaningful lyrics. My lyrics can be poetic, cutting, funny or mournful - depends what I was feeling when I wrote the song. When I gig it can be a stripped back affair with just me and the guitar or with a few extra muscians (e.g. cello, percussion, backing singers) up to a full band. I am studying classical music (saxophone is my main instrument) so have a great pool of musical talent to dip into. Original and diverse, I have put together an 8 track album with photographs to match this feel. With my album finished and my sax in tow, I am now on study exhange in the USA and looking to get gigs here too. I even have my kilt with me...
