SmokesPaid

SmokesPaid, an independent hip hop artist out of Houston, Texas. Growing up in a small Northeast Texas town called Clarksville, Smokes began experimenting with rap, believe it or not, in church at the age of 6 years old. After playing around with Christian rhymes for a while, Smokes began to get involved with hip hop with some friends, recording in a home studio, as he got into his teens. In the college years (2012-pres) SmokesPaid met chriSam, another independent artist from North Carolina, while attending Sam Houston State University. Rapping under DollaFad, an independent label, along with Ladain, chriSam and SmokesPaid came together to write music along with a producer, Frontline, calling the team LOMO. LOMO, being an acronym for League Of My Own. Since, they have added an R&B artist by the name of Joy Lundy. Together, the group have written and produced multiple singles, and SmokesPaid will be releasing a debut project in September called 'Smokes Avenue.'
