Lady Kat... not to be confused with the timid feline variety, is a powerhouse of a woman who will knock your socks off! Lady Kat carries the likes of Etta James, with a little of Wynonna's twang and the depth of a Della Reese. Lady Kat was born and raised in the Northwest and was surrounded by the blues and country music. Her greatest influence was her father, who in his own right was a blues/country singer for many years. She did quite a bit of dancin' in her daddies boots. This Lady's not only gifted with a unique entertaining voice, but the ability to create the lyrics she sings.
Sonny Hess.... Lead guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist. She is recognized for her soulful guitar leads that take you on a emotional train ride. Nominated for Best Electric Guitar and Life-Time Acheivement Awards from the Cascade Blues Asoc.... and a Crystal Award for Best R&B Act. Opening over the years for artists such as Etta James, Bobby Womack, Average White Band, JR Walker & the All-Stars and Charlie Musselwhite.
Together... they write music and the combination makes for great musical masterpieces. Add their tight rhythm section, Jim Hively, bassman, ain't nobody got his tone. Kelly Pierce, drums & percussions, Sugar Beat, the man with all the toys, alittle dirty sax and you have a winner!!!
