Snap The Butterfly

STB formed in 2011, as a Alt/Hard Rock DIY solo recording project by Cape Breton native Chris LeBlanc, releasing a self titled EP in June 2012. Shortly after, Joe Woods (Moonshine Emergency) joined the project on bass. In early 2013, STB released the album Holygram on youtube, a half hour long psychedelic collection of LeBlanc's random demo recordings, to be enjoyed under the influence of your choice. In Dec 2013 LeBlanc signed on to the Halifax Plugged In compilation, recording two new STB songs at Denmark Productions. Joe Pottie (Cicada) was soon recruited to play drums after LeBlanc joined Pottie's current project MURDOCH. STB performed both Montes Showbar, and Riverfest Rock The Bush Halifax Plugged IN Showcases as well as a performance on CKDU with Freddie Webber & The Most Maple Morning Show, and have continued to play around the maritimes leaving their mark wherever they go. Their raw, emotional, high energy live show along with catchy grungy rock sound is sure to grab you by the throat and demand respect.
